Swordfern Design owner Mia Harth
A love of plants and a keen interest in art and architecture came together when I discovered the profession of landscape design.
I received a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia in 2000 and worked with a Victoria-based landscape design-build team as well as two local landscape architecture firms before fully launching Swordfern Design.
In business since 2003, my focus has been residential garden design, with projects ranging from small garden renovations to complete overhauls, from deck and pergola designs to selection of furniture and fabrics for outdoor rooms. The selection of just the right planter pot and collection of plants can make all the difference in your outdoor space. No project is too small in the aspiration to beautify the world around you.
